The hat of each rotor is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron using the same specs and materials as professional racing organizations. The curved-vane design acts as a centrifugal pump to force cool air through the disc.

The drive pins transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the disc and hat to accomodate heat expansion.
